Item Description

The labels indicate that this specimen long predates professional specimen acquisition mining in the 1960's (from the ol labels, one would assume it is from the earliest era here and trickled out of an old museum collection into Schortmann hands in the mid 1900s). Even though the rhodo is cleaved, it is still a big chunk of Sweet Home Mine rhodo which could be cabbed or carved, and is a reference piece for the coloration and size of the crystals in the old days.
