Rhodochrosite rhombs are rare from any Japanese locale, as most specimens are botyroids. Lustrous, translucent, pretty pastel-pink rhombs cover matrix on this showy and excellent old-timer. The trivial bit of brusing is certainly a modest detraction to this rich and excellent old-timer. The pink is not as intense, as the photos show. Seldom on the market.
