Item Description

A rich, showy, old-time rhodochrosite specimen from the famous Sunnyside Mine. Lustrous, translucent, pastel-pink rhombs, to 1.3 cm on the diagonal, are richly strewn on the hefty, sparkly pyrite, sulfides and quartz ore matrix. The few bruised rhodos in the interior are certainly only a modest detraction to this highly representative and classic combination.
