Item Description

An older, beautiful rich cherry-red rhodochrosite rhomb from the famed Sweet Home Mine. The highly lustrous sculptural rhomb is transparent to translucent. The front, right side and top are pristine. Half of the left side is cleaved and the back and bottom are cleaved. This classic and uncommon cutie is probably from the 1960s and 70s mining efforts. Very seldom available rhodo in this size and quality.
