Item Description

A cute thumbnail cluster of gem cherry-red rhodochrosite scalenohedrons from the famous late 1970s finds at this famous mine. The piece looks great from either side and the couple of gently cleaved tips and basal contacting on one side are certainly only modest detractions to this very showy and classic example from the Mervyn Ford Collection.
