An outstanding, sculptural and rich larger rhodochrosite specimen from this less well-known Peru mine. Sharp, lustrous, translucent, pastel-poink rhombs, to 2.0 cm on the diagonal, have frosted faces. The rhombs are dramatically festooned on the sculptural mounded, undulating matrix. The bit of scattered bruising has minimal impact to the overall richness and quality of this specimen. Rhodos of this style, richness, size and quality are RARE from here.
