Item Description
An OLD-TIME, highly lustrous, gemmy/translucent, rose-red rhodochrosite rhomb from the famous Emma Mine at Butte, Montana. The crystal is niftily capped by a smaller rhodo with a quartz crystal. Some of the sides may be cleavages, it is just too hard to tell. Irregardless, this is a highly representative, extremely gemmy and classic rhodo from this renowned locale. Ex John Ydren Collection.
