An adorable, striking and unusual miniature rhodochrosite combination from the early 2000s Porcelain Pocket find at the famed Sweet Home Mine. Cherry-red rhodo rhombohedra are aesthetically set on the blocky matrix. The gorgeous dark cherry-red rhomb, 1.9 cm on the diagonal is pure gem and is all there except for trivial edge bruises. The other large lighter red rhomb, 1.7 cm on the diagonal, is gemmy/translucent and has a cleaved frontal face. The two large fluorite cubes, to 9 mm, are stunning in their complexity. The gem cubes are mostly colorless, water-clear, BUT both have purple centers and preferential white quartz included faces, adding amazing character. The small cube also has a small included needle quartz crystal, adding even more interest. Scattered needle quartz crystals and contrasting tetrahedrite crystals on the sulfide and quartz matrix add to the dramatic presentation of this very showy combination.
