A glassy, translucent, rich rose-red, 2.8 x 2.5 x 2.2 cm, compound rhodochrosite rhomb is jauntily set atop the strikingly contrasting mounded small cabinet matrix of very glassy, translucent, rich mint-green fluorite with purple highlights, more rhodo and matrix. It's hard to say which faces may be natural or cleavages on the rhodochrosite. Wutong Mine combination rhodos with this fluorite richness are RARE and this is a very showy highly representative 360-degree example from this famous mine. Purple fluorescence.
