A classic and showy combination small cabinet from this famous Colorado locality. Clusters of tiny pastel-pink rhodochrosite rhombs are richly and attractively scattered on the sculptural matrix of modified fluorite cubes. The glassy, transparent to translucent cubes have pretty light sea-green color and frosted faces. A nifty bonus are the many more rhodos on drusy quartz on the back side. BRIGHT blue-white fluorescence! Ex Herb Obodda Fluorite Collection, which sold in the mid-1990s apart from his main, worldwide collection. He later bought part of it back and kept it in his main collection, as well. The piece has several fine display orientations. Value??
