Rhodochrosite (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This is about as classic as it gets from the San Juan Mountains in Colorado. The Sunnyside mine produced some very well known Rhodochrosite association specimens in its history. This specimen is a lovely small minaiture sized specimen hosting light pink Rhodochrosite rhombohedra which are sitting on snow-white Quartz crystals. Specimens of this material are highly sought after by Colorado collectors. The largest Rhodochrosite crystal measures 7 mm. From the Colorado collection of Richard Kosnar.
