The Rhodochrosites from Banska Stiavnica are some of the most attractive and unusual Rhodos from anywhere. This piece features orange-pink, notably vitreous, semi-spherical groups of Rhodochrosite on matrix. Virtually no damage, and distinctive for the locality. Originally this piece was part of the collection of Dr. Ladislav Turecky. A great piece to add to your worldwide Rhodochrosite suite. You just don't see these specimens on the market, and for the form and color, it's certainly an interesting and worthwhile piece from this historic locality.
