The Champion mine is well known to Colorado collectors, but specimens are SELDOM available on the market, let alone beautiful thumbnails such as this one. If you're a Colorado collector or a Rhodochrosite collector, be sure not to miss out on this one. The piece features dozens of sharp, soft pink color, well-formed rhombohedra of Rhodochrosite on a beautifully contrasting metallic golden Pyrite matrix. The largest rhomb measures 3 mm, all of which aesthetically sit at the top of specimen. This is certainly a worthwhile specimen from this hard to find locality in southwestern Colorado!
