Rhodochrosite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

The Sunnyside mine has produced some very well known Rhodochrosite specimens in its history. This piece has some very attractive, pink colored Rhodochrosite rhombs which have a micro overgrowth of sparkling Quartz crystals which are surrounded by dark silvery-grey color cubic Galena. The association and color contrast make it a worthwhile specimen of this hard to find and often highly sought after material. A nice specimen for any collector of Rhodochrosites or pieces from Colorado.
