Item Description
The Sunnyside mine has produced some very well known Rhodochrosite specimens in its history. This piece features some attractive, sharp, well-formed, rhombohedral crystals of pink colored Rhodochrosite sitting atop a druse of white Quartz crystals with minor Galena and Sphalerite on matrix. The largest Rhodo rhomb measurs 1.1 cm across, and several of the crystals are pristine. A good specimen for any collector of Rhodochrosites or specimens from Colorado from this well known mine in the San Juan Mountains. Valued at $500 retail.
