Item Description
A really unique and notably different kind of Rhodochrosite from the famous Manuelita Mine. This small cabinet specimen features a large, robust, well-formed, soft pink colored rhombohedron of Rhodochrosite which is coated by sparkling colorless Quartz crystals to give it an almost "sugary" effect. A spherical group of Sphalerite (with a slight iridescent coloring) sits atop the specimen to give it that added aesthetic touch . Minor golden Pyrite can be seen on the reverse side of the specimen as well. The piece is damage free on the display side and looks beautiful when its sitting in the FREE custom lucite base included with the specimen. Priced in our inventory at $3,500. This is a cool Rhodo, not just for the locality, but for Rhodochrosite in general and it would make a great addition to any suite of this beloved manganese carbonate.
