Item Description
A fine rhodochrosite specimen from the Consie Prince Collection and the Potosi Mine at Santa Eulalia. Very gemmy and glassy, rose-pink, stacked nailhead rhodochrosite rhombs richly line a sculptural vug on iridescent goethite with a few pyrrhotite crystals. The crystals are not large, but they so gemmy and there are so many of them. The crystal layering really stands out under a loupe. This habit of rhodo is uncommon from the Potosi Mine.
