Item Description
N'Chwaning has produced world-class Rhodochrosites in the late 1970s and early 1980s that rank right up there today and maintain their distinction some 40 years later. This thumbnail combines the very best features of what N'Chwaning has to offer: sharp scalenohedral crystals, outstanding luster, and a beautiful cherry-red color that would make Jello proud. The crystal are even quite stout for their size, which is a huge plus in every regard. As with most such specimen, some crystals usually have diagonal small cleavages on the tips (natural, formed in pocket). Here 3 of the 4 tips are pristine, one with a cleave that we would face to the rear for display. Simply SUPERB, this is a jewel. Period.
