Item Description

A classy and showy solid display specimen of rhodochrosite from the Emma Mine of historic Butte. Attractive, sharp, well-formed, pink rhombs, up to 1.5 cm on the diagonal, form the mounded specimen with tiny pyrites as a typical complementary accessory. Excellent shape overall, for a 3-sided piece, with only a modest bit of periphery wear. Classic old-time Butte rhodo from the W.S. Logan Collection # 18-2.
