Item Description
Translucent, lustrous, pretty pastel-pink, rhodocrhosite rhombs cover the banded matrix of rhodchrosite and quartz on this classic, older specimen from the famous mines at Butte. The striking large rhomb is 1.5 cm and the two, little, quartz crystal bowties are a nifty accent. Showy and excellent material from this noted locale. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
