Item Description
Rose-red, glassy, translucent, rhodochrosite rhombs with stepped-growth faces are aesthetically stacked on massive manganite matrix on this showy and excellent miniature from this well-known locale. Hotazel Mine rhodos generally came out before the famous finds at the N'Chwnaning I Mine in the late 1970s and are scarcer. Very highly representative material. Valued at $600-800.
