Item Description

Beautiful, pastel-pink rosettes of sparkly, curved, flattened rhodochrosite rhombohedrons totally cover the sculptural small cabinet matrix on this very showy specimen from the famous Cavnic Mine. The bit of noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction of this colorful, rich and excellent example. This historic and ancient polymetallic mining town has has been known since 1336 (MINDAT). Classic and rich rhodochrosite from the Dr. Vasco Trancoso Collection.
