Item Description

Pastel-pink, lustrous, rhodochrosite rhombs to 7 mm cover the undulating milky quartz matrix on this very rich, showy and classic specimen from the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The sprinkling of brassy pyrite and lustrous black sulfide crystals is a fine accent. Probably from either the American Tunnel Mine or the Sunnyside Mine. Ex Wes Parker Collection.
