Item Description

Sunnyside Mine rhodochrosites are a desirable Colorado classic. This showy and excellent specimen features intergrown sharp, lustrous, translucent, pastel-pink rhombs to about 1.0 cm on a massive rhodochrosite crust. The minimal periphery wear is certainly not a detraction to this fine two-sided piece. Highly representative material from this classic mine. The recent Lithographie issue is devoted entirely to minerals of the San Juans. Ex Gerald Herfurth Collection and the numbers match.
