Item Description
A pristine, classic, gem, light cherry-red compound rhodochrosite scalenohedron thumbnail from the famous late 1970s finds at the N'Chwaning I Mine. Complete all-around, this cutie has a modified pinacoidal termintion. The back side is contacted, where another crystal, once lay, but there is no damage, per se. Specimens with undamaged tips are very hard to come by. Previously in the Helen & Joe Warinsky Collection. Ex Chet Lemanski Collection and acquired from Richard Hauck in 1995.
