Item Description

Often times, Shigaite associated with good Rhodochrosite finds itself included within the Rhodochrosite. It makes for a good combination piece, but the Shigaite really doesn't get to show its stuff. Not so here. There are two sharp and lustrous hexagonal 2 mm Shigaites sitting right on top of the gemmy pink Rhodochrosite, and it makes for an outstanding specimen. The presentation of these two crystals is excellent. Not a big piece, but a well-designed and aesthetic one.
