Item Description

Very fine, gemmy, and super-lustrous rose-colored pocket of Rhodochrosite, with the rare aluminum manganese sulfate, Shigaite. The Shigaites are mostly intergrown with the Rhodochrosite. As well, there are several lustrous, hexagonal Shigaites to several mm on the matrix next to the Rhodochrosite. An excellent combination piece, with lovely, very aesthetic Rhodochrosite and the important, associated Shigaite. Unique style
