Item Description
These are some of the most recognizable Rhodochrosites from any world locality. Their bubbly / botryoidal form along with the distinctive color is quite different from a lot of other Rhodochrosites. They somewhat remind me of the Rhodos from the Oppu Mine in Japan. This piece features a partial coverage of spherical Rhodochrosite with a rich pinkish-red color and moderate translucency when backlit on matrix. Both sides of the specimen feature a coating of this beautiful Rhodochrosite. For the most part, the piece is in good shape, though one edge is contacted, so it's not completely pristine. If you're a fan of Rhodochrosite, do not miss out on these rarely seen specimens that came out in the early 1990s and haven't been found since.
