A classic specimen of the famous Rhodochrosites from South Africa. The N'Chwaning Mines are world renowned for their amazing rich orange red to flame red colored Rhodos. This piece features beautiful little red colored, gemmy, scalenohedra of Rhodochrosite with a sugary / drusy coating of micro Quartz. Best viewed up close, but good quality.
