Rhodochrosite

Argentina has provided a tremendous amount of stalagtitic Rhodochrosite with a beautiful pink color banding, but rarely is the material gemmy enough for faceting as most of it is either slabbed or cabbed. With that said, this is a beautiful stalactitic formation of Rhodo from Argentina and shows a beautiful pinkish orange color. The piece resembles a scepter or wand or even an ice cream cone (or whatever else your mind can conjure up) and is polished on both ends. A unique and attractive piece to add to your collection.
