Item Description

The Zanett tunnel is named after the family that owns the Grizzly Bear mine. Rhodochrosite specimens from this mine are among some of the most sought after San Juan Rhodochrosites by Colorado collectors. This specimen hosts several beautiful pink rhombs of Rhodochrosite with good form and color. The largest Rhodochrosite rhomb measures 1.7 cm on edge, and despite a little roughness, is in good shape overall. A beautiful full thumbnail sized specimen of this classic material. The crystals are certainly good sized compared to most I've seen from this mine.
