Item Description

A cute flattened rhodochrosite rhomb from recent Chinese finds. This translucent and lustrous crystal is rose-red and has frosted, stepped-growth faces. A nifty two-sided crystal. Overall this piece is in great shape. The rounded edge is pristine and the contacting at the base is certainly not a detraction. A highly representative example of the species and locale. The Wutong Mine is now closed and there is little likelyhood, that it will reopen anytime soon. Get one while you can.
