Rhodochrosite

Item Description

The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This small cabinet size specimen hosts several sharp, lustrous, gemmy, reddish-pink color modified rhombohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 6 mm on matrix. There are also some associated GEM quality Quartz crystals and a small pseudo-rhombic pale pink Rhodonite crystal as well! Most of the Rhodochrosite crystals are in good and the piece displays well from the front. Enjoy.
