Superb set of three outstanding Rhodochrosite thumbnails, each representing a major South African mine. The Hotazel piece is your more classic Rhodo - gemmy and deep red. The Wessels piece is a superb pseudomorph of pink Rhodochrosite replacement after Calcite; and the Nchwaning piece is one the rare pink drusy balls. Not only does this piece fluoresce a deep orange, but this particular habit is the most sought-after of all the South African Rhodos for its aesthetics and rarity. This Rhodo alone is worth whatever price is paid for the three. That can probably also be said for the Wessels pseudo. A great set of thumbs, and unmatched in quality and rarity.
