Item Description

The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This miniature size specimen hosts a group of sharp, lustrous, very gemmy, bright pink-red color scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite on matrix. A great sample of this well known material from Peru. Please note that the color is a bit more intense in the photos than in person.
