Lustrous, gemmy/translucent, pretty rose-red rhodochrosite rhombs with frosted faces from the 1996 Hedgehog Pocket at this renowned locale. This aesthetically intergrown plate is dominated by the 1.8 cm rhomb and nicely accented by the few quartz points. The interior is nearly pristine, with only one gently bruised corner and one small rhomb with a cleaved face. The upper face of the large rhomb has just a bit of edge wear and right edge is cleaved. This remains a very showy and highly representative example of the pocket and famed locale. The 1996-97 price was $250. Values keep going up on Sweet Home rhodos. Value today??
