Item Description

The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This small cabinet size specimen hosts several sharp, lustrous, gemmy, reddish-pink color scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 7 mm long on matrix. Despite some edge wear, several of the crystals are undamaged. A nice, colorful reference specimen of this well known material.
