A cute rhodochrosite combination toenail from the famous and now-closed Sweet Home Mine. A gemmy and lustrous, 1.5 x 0.9 x 0.5 cm, tabular, pretty rose-red rhodo crystal is aesthetically set in a mounded matrix covered with needle quartz, brassy chalcopyrite crystals, dark gray tetrahedrite crystals and even a couple of intergrown, sea-green, fluorite cubes to 3 mm. The rhodo is nearly pristine, except for barely noticeable edgewear on a back corner of the termination and modest periphery wear at the base. A sweet Sweet Home combo piece!
