The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This small cabinet size specimen hosts several sharp, lustrous, gemmy, reddish-pink color scalenohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 6 mm long on matrix. Several crystals are undamaged, while a few are contacted. A decent hand-sized piece of this well known materia.
