Item Description
A pretty, two-sided, rhodochrosite specimen of lustrous, flattened, rose-red, rhombs to 1.5 cm nicely accented with a bit of light purple fluorite. The quality of Chinese rhodochrosite from the Wudong Mine keeps getting better and better and this is an excellent example. A trivial bit of periphery wear is certainly not a detraction. A highly representative example of the species and locale.
