A showy and excellent cluster of large, lustrous, translucent, cherry-red, rhodochrosite rhombs from the famous and now-closed Sweet Home Mine. The large rhomb is 4.1 cm on edge. There are sharp faces, contacted faces and some cleavage faces on this specimen. Although not complete, thus, it is a highly representative example with large crystals from this renowned locale. This one won't break the bank. A pristine specimen of this size would be a minimum of $5000, depending on the pocket. Valued $500-750
