Item Description

Gorgeous single crystal of gemmy, red Rhodochrosite from the most famous finds of such gem crystals in the early 1980s, in the Kalahari Manganese Fields. Totally transparent, some of the edges have a very unusual and fascinating stepped-growth that almost gives the impression of being tiered. This is an excellent thumbnail of very high quality!
