Item Description
The N’Chwaning Mines in South Africa are considered one of the world’s great Rhodochrosite localities, and this is from the late 1970s or early 1980s when they were found - legendary finds, today. The habit of these crystals are scalenohedrons, and in this case the crystals are slightly modified. They are graced with good color, gemminess, and great luster. It is unusual to find an attractive and balanced thumbnail from here. Small crystals, but a total jewel!
