Item Description

A lovely solitary single scalenohedral crystal of Rhodochrosite dating back to the 1970s-1980s era at Santa Eulalia. When backlit, this crystal has a pleasing orange-red hue internally. One side has a drusy coating of little colorless Quartz crystals and gem colorless cubic Fluorites. The termination of the crystal was contacted at one point in time, but it's not broken, as it's re-crystallized ("re-healed") and I can see tiny little crystallized faces, and not fresh cleavage faces.
