Item Description

A lovely little miniature from the Huarón District featuring sharp, well-formed, medium pink colored rhombic crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 8 mm with no matrix. Most of the crystals are in good shape, but there are some rough edges here and there. What really makes this piece stand out from most others I've seen from Huarón is the fact that these are well-defined rhombic CRYSTALS, where almost every other Rhodo I can remember from this area featured more of a spherical habit.
