A rich, showy and uncommon combination from this less well-known Peruvian locale. Lustrous, translucent, lightly frosted, rose-pink, rhodochrosite rhombs richly cover the sculptural mounded matrix of sharp tetrahedrite crystals with scattered patches of pyrite microcrystals. The interstitial quartz is a nice accent. Tetrahedrite in this richness is very uncommon from the Santa Rita Mine and this is a very choice combination piece for the locale.
