reverse Quartz scepter w/ Clinochlore inclusion

Item Description

Prochlorite is an old, obsolete synonym for clinochlore. This striking and weird looking water-clear quartz crystal is included with a 8 mm, sharp, green clinochlore crystal. The quartz is a strange-looking, doubly terminated, reverse scepter. The base of the large, skewed, hexagonal crystal is broken and healed. The quartz is complete all-around and pristine, with the upper termination and some of the prism faces being contacted, but having no damage, per se. The two frontal faces have been polished to highlight the very rare inclusion. Definitely rare and unique included quartz from Minas Gerais. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Older material.
