Item Description
Wow! This dramatic, three-sided reticulated cerussite from Tsumeb is dominated by the shocking, large, amazingly thick, 4.5 x 4.5 x 1.7 cm blade! The impressive blades are water-clear gem with super-high glassy luster, stepped-growth faces and fine variable smoky color. A REAL BONUS on the back of piece is the rich cluster of lustrous, translcuent, light brown wulfenite prisms, to 5 mm. Yes, one side and the front have bruised/broken blades, but this piece displays fantastically from all three sides. A true and very fine older cerussite and wulfenite from the Howard Belsky Collection. Cerussite blades with this thickness are very uncommon! Valued at $1500-1750.
