Reticulated Cerussite (Mervyn Ford Coll.)

A classic and aesthetic reticulated cerussite miniature from Tsumeb and the Mervyn Ford Collection. The stout blades on this sculptural piece are very glassy with adamantine luster, translucent to translucent and have expressive stepped-growth faces. That's a nifty little cluster of lustrous, rose-red cobaltoan smithsonite rhombs nested on one side. A fine two-sided piece with only trivial bruising to a couple of terminations.
