Item Description
Reticulated cerussites from Tsumeb are certainly among the very best and most desirable in the world. This is an outstanding and extremely stout two-sided specimen from the Howard Belsky Collection. The striking, artistic light smoky spearpoints are very glassy with classic adamantine luster and are beautifully accented by the side car crystals and stepped-growth faces. Several of the blades have skeletal features, adding even more pizzazz. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. You barely notice a gentle bruise to the side of the tip to one of the stout blades and broken out-of-sight secondary blades at the base of the piece. It displays beautifully from either side without aid. Valued at $2500-3000. Classic and excellent Tsumeb cerussite.
